I am writing from the Carrefour Petanque Club in Jersey to advise about some open competitions being held in Jersey over the first Bank Holiday weekend in May.
We are having our Open Triples on the Monday 6th May, following the Jersey Petanque Club’s Open on Saturday 4th and Sunday 6th. They have substantially increased the prize money this year.

An entry form for our competition can be found on our website www.carrefour.org.uk and the JPC’s can be found by enquiring at www.petanque.org.je

I think this may be of interest as Easyjet have started some direct flights leaving Glasgow early on the Saturday morning and returning on the Tuesday. I have used the service myself and have found it excellent value.
