The SPA is 30!

Standard

This year the SPA will celebrate our 30th Anniversary and the NEC have agreed that we would like to make 2015 a bit more special for all our members.  We will confirm the details in due course, but here are some of things we’ve arranged:

  • Coaching sessions with French player, Didier Chassot, on 9th and 10th May at Inverleith Petanque Club.  The session on the 9th will be aimed at Scottish internationals, competitive players and coaches.  The session on the 10th will be aimed at the club player and is open to all our members.
  • A special 30th Anniversary weekend on 11th and 12th July in Fochabers.  Fochabers PC will hold an open competition on the 11th, followed by a celebratory meal at the Gordon Arms and the SPA National Triples on the 12th.  It’s sure to be a great weekend.
  • All our members will receive a special 30th Anniversary memento

We would really like to hear from anyone who might have photos at home from by-gone days of the SPA.  If you can help please get in touch via the ‘Contact the SPA’ menu.
